A Caffeine Profile....

Well I thought...to help promote our slept on asses....

I'd put a profile of each member of "The Caffeine" (I actually haven't asked the girls yet about this).

So, because I'm the only with nuts....i'll go first.

Name: Gavin Crossley

Age: 21
Height: 178cm
Occupation: Former Commercial Radio Announcer/Ranting Sociopath
Born Day: 08/07/1984
School: Padbury Senior High School
Influences: Bill Hicks, Australian Hip-Hop and a growing hatred of mankind

Gavin Started Radio in 2001, straight after High School (thanks to an ad in The Wanneroo Times asking for volunteers at Twin Cities FM). It all began with a show named "Beatz, Rhymz and Life" it quickly became a home of high controversy and was cancelled twice in a year (but won back during appeals and various power shifts at the top of Twin Cities FM). This show also was shifted to 3 seperate timeslots during this time eventually settling on Friday Nights from 10pm, were it grew in popularity and scope for 2 straight years.

Then Gav got the call up to Commmercial Radio, he flew off to Parkes, NSW, in August of 2003, where he stayed for 4 months before returning home due to personal reasons. He then re-started the "BRL" (as Beatz, Rhymz and Life was popularly now known as) bandwagon, but it was never the same as before. Things really fell apart when, Gav was involved in a near-fatal car accident in March 2004, and then "BRL" was cancelled once and for all, in April 2004.

After langishing in TCFM's daytime programming for the rest of 2004 and early into 2005, until
Gav and Mahvreen Gossi (who was Gav co-host on Daytime) devised "The Caffeine Show". The show finally aired February 2005. Since then, Marvs has moved on to greener pastures and is now joined by Sam and Missy Fidella, The Caffeine Show has continued to bring you guys some of the finest radio that community radio has ever seen (although admittedly the bar isn't set that high, it community radio for fuck sake!!!). Gav hopes for another shot at commercial radio in the near future and the ultimate dream of working on JJJ is still in his mind.

We'll see what we'll see.
