I'M NOT ROVE!!!

Now, had enough of this shit...

here is proof i'm not Rove.

There may be simlarities like, looking like a scrawny, skinny, ferrety-humoured teenage boy....but thats where the comparisons end.

He's successful and makes 10 Grand a week. I'm on the benefits and work on community radio.

Rove is short....i'm not (i'm not tall either)

He has a wife (Belinda Emmett)....i don't worry myself with the whinging of a wife. Girlfriends are bad enough....this is why i'm single most of the time, obviously.

I'm bitter and hateful, he's not....i think.

He likes Gretel....i don't.

He promotes commercial tripe on his show....I Bag it.

He hates his past in community T.V.....I revel in this.

He sold out....I haven't.

Photo Comparison:

Gav.................................Rove.....................

See people....don't get it twisted.

I'M NOT ROVE!!!!!!!!

The Reasonable Things.....

This time around...

Sarah Blasko

Sarah is one of my solo favourite artists. Why? Fuck knows actually.... I normally hate soft pop music (see Tragic Songs), i'm not a fan of her counterparts in her "catergory" either... Mia Dyson, Missy Higgins, Delta "my second album was a flop" Goodrem etc.

The fact that she does a lot of that arty shit as well (which I also HATE with a passion) makes this Sarah love more fucked up.

But as many of our readers should know Sarah Blasko's album "The Overture and The Underscore" got a l0ts of airplay on The Caffeine Show and of course JJJ (my rivals/dream place to work and whom I would defect to quicker than you can Rosie Beaton). Somehow through the arty bullshit and love songs, she shines through. This album and Sarah are somehow an endearing and enjoyable listen. It might be her husky vocals and live instrumentation or it could be her on stage dancing dancing (which has to be seen to be believed).

Actually on the dancing (Sarah, if your reading this) I have dubbed this "the canter" (Copyright Caffeine Industries 2006) which is her back and forth movement while grasping the mic during the bridges of her tracks. Ms. Blasko, you gotta show me how to do the canter....because i can't replicate it.

Add the canter with her interperative freestyle dancing makes this intersting and highly entertaining viewing if you ever go to a Sarah show.

If you add this with her wardrobe which is like a Granny's dress sense in the 60's, this makes the image of Sarah Blasko work for her and for me.

For being original, and for making decent music against the odds. Your a saluted Caffeine Favourite.

Love and Respect
