Goodbye, Caffeine Fiends...by Gavin Crossley

This is Goodbye as Host of The Caffeine Show...through the form of random thoughts

First of all, for those that want to know about my movements or care about my new mission in life. Those people will be able to read about my adventures in a new blog series called "Gav's Instinctive Travels". I'll start writing that shit in the next couple of weeks and fortnightly after that....until I get bored of it.

Melbourne is a BIG place and I'll be a nobody there (was I some somebody in Perth?) which will be a good thing....and maybe I can do something "Non-Gav" and not draw attention to myself.

What I might do...is hunt down Rove..."Rove Live" is broadcast from Melbourne so we'll see what I can do on that front. Maybe I can interview Rove for the show....wouldn't THAT be interesting?

This course HOPEFULLY will do something towards getting sastained PAYED radio work...which is what I want to do. Which is WHY i'm going to Melbourne....there is more of chance of getting paid radio work in the Eastern States than in Perth or the "career desert" which is Western Australia. Besides Centrelink are c**ts (it's nasty word so I censored it)....so I need to fuck them off. Fuck a labouring job.

Admittion: Without the "Caffeine Show" I'd be dead....plain and simple....it kept me from killing myself 2 years ago.

My last act as a Member of Team Caffeine was supposed to be, me going to Adelaide later this year and picking up a CBAA (Community Broadcasting Association of Australia) Award for Team Caffeine....i didn't enter again...because basically, I don't need an award to tell me that we did a fucking awesome show.
